Due to the fog it took a while for us to locate the airfield today!
But despite the conditions a small group of hardy souls decided to wait to see if conditions would improve to allow some flying to take place and set about getting the toys out.
Whilst this was underway we left John Douglass in the clubhouse working his way though his bronze written test.
Suddenly a window of opportunity arrived as around 1pm flying commenced…………… two flights later we were grounded again as the murk returned. Toys were duly returned to the hanger ~:-(
So despite minimal flying the day was not wasted as John Douglass successfully passed his bronze written test, Andrew Peacock had his cross country endorsement counter signed by yours truly after spending time at Shennington yesterday and we welcomed back Tony Chapman who turned up after a 4 month lay off due to work commitments.
