It had to happen eventually!

Saturday 27th Feb – For the first time since September 2015 I turned up and the weather gave us a break! Looking at the sky clearing from the north I confidently predicted soaring and putting this to the test (and because I hadn’t flown a K13 for rather longer than would allow me to instruct on type) I took the first launch and climbed under growing StratoCu to 2,800 feet before checking myself out on spin recoveries and a bit of VNe flying.

This set the theme for the day and many of the flights were soaring flights until we ran out of enthusiasm for standing around in the biting cold and someone decided to pack the field up with the last 2 flights still at 3,000 feet+. All in all a good day.
