Gliding Vouchers – an ideal gift!
Gliding gift vouchers for our 30 min trial lesson and our half day trial lessons are available for purchase online or by post: please see the payment options below. The single flight option at £40 is available at the airfield on the day.
The voucher will be posted to you, normally to your card/PayPal address (this can be changed in the message section of the purchase process). The voucher is valid for a year; we recommend you book by email or phone 01488 504966 when you wish to redeem your voucher.
Please Note: Our gliding gift vouchers are redeemable only at Rivar Hill airfield. Please read all of the information on this page before making a purchase.
Buy online with Paypal or a Credit or Debit card; complete the form below. (We use PayPal as our payment agency, if you don’t have a PayPal account, you will be asked for card details).
Send a cheque or postal order made out to “Shalbourne Soaring Society” and post to Gliding Vouchers, The Dell House, Charmwood Close, Newbury RG14 1XA. If the voucher is to be personalised please include the name of the recipient with your order.
Trial Lesson Voucher – £75
A flight of approximately 30 minutes, or two flights if the first is short.
Half Day Introduction Voucher – £140
Four instructional flights, or up to 75 mins flying time (whichever occurs first).

If you have a Shalbourne Gliding (Shalbourne Soaring Society) or BGA Voucher and want to book a trial lesson at Shalbourne, please email or phone 01488 504966. Booking is recommended, but you are also welcome to just turn up at a weekend; we are usually able to provide a lesson at short notice.
Note: Vouchers are valid for a year from the date of purchase.

Our gliding club is located next to the Hampshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire borders and is the ideal place to come to experience the thrill of gliding.
